Lydia also had an important first day. First Day of Preschool. Of course, she was in no mood for me to take her picture. Oh well…I’ll try again later.
2 songs when you’re 2 years old…handled quite well!
Alden wanted to describe his latest transformers and record it. Here is his inspiration…just to give you a frame of reference…
I was finally able to put together some of the photos and videos from our trip to Chicago!
So … Lexington postponed our Halloween – to Friday and unfortunately, we were out of town…so Alden and Lydia missed going door to door this year.
But at least we got to go to Trunk or Treat the night before and we still had some friends over on Thursday so they could dress up in their costumes and play.
Here are some photos from both nights.
The Dora socks are a nice touch, huh?
Alden checking out all of the people.
They even had Creepy Crawlers. Alden was surprisingly ready to hold one!
But Alden had his blaster to protect his sister.
Alden and his friend!
After the inflatable slide!
Getting some candy.
PJ Day at school!
Halloween time with Aunt Gran!
Lydia getting a hug from a friend!
Last weekend Gran Margie took the kids to Keeneland to see some horses and bet on some races. Apparently Lydia was pretty good at picking the winners!
Alden looked so adorable in his jacket and tie. And he was so excited for me to take his photo … all dressed up.
Lydia…she looked adorable but was not as excited to let me take her photo. She just wanted to juice and didn’t quite understand that she could get it after she cooperated with me.
With Alden playing soccer, we’ve realized that he likes to add a little hop or jump to his game. Doesn’t necessarily make him better…just makes him unique! 😉
